Francis is an Architect Accredited in Building Conservation and joined Donald Insall Associates in 1991, qualifying as an architect the following year. He became a Director in 2014 and is based in our London office, focussing on specialist conservation repair and conservation management plans (CMPs) to guide the whole process of historic building management.  He has a particular interest in traditional building materials, their repair and conservation, and writes regularly for specialist publications.

Francis also spends time in our Trinidad & Tobago office where he is overseeing the repair and restoration of the Red House (Parliament building).
