Niamh is a Senior Built Heritage Adviser with over 14 years’ experience of working in architectural and multi-disciplinary design practices on some of the most sensitive and significant buildings and places in Britain and Ireland. She has in-depth knowledge of buildings of all periods and typologies and has experience of liaising with multi-disciplinary design teams, planners, conservation officers and statutory consultees on matters of heritage and design at all stages of the process. Niamh’s knowledge and rigour are allied to her keen eye for good design and she has a particular expertise in new design in historic places, adaptive reuse, 19th century museums, galleries, theatres, railway infrastructure and 20th century architecture. Following her PhD she has taught and lectured just as she has written widely on architectural history.
