As Interior Design Consultants working as part of a team with BDP and Taylor Woodrow, the Practice undertook a major study of the historical development of the Hall interiors. This provided a basis for our proposals for the Auditorium, foyers and public circulation areas. New decorative schemes, furniture and fittings designed by the Practice reinforce the identity of the building. The £66M project was supported by grants from the Arts Council and the Heritage Lottery fund.
Following completion of the major project in 2004, the Practice has been appointed as the Hall's Architectural Advisor and continues to act in connection with a variety of ongoing projects.
Awards: Europa Nostra Diploma, RIBA Conservation Commendation Award, Contract Flooring Association & Journal Winner
Client: The Corporation of the Hall of Arts and Sciences
