Fronting the 13th century chancel and 14th century nave, the dramatic tower of the church dates back to the 15th century.
Though Reginald Blomfield had substantially restored the tower in 1895, more recently its flat concrete and steel parapet roof had been found to be in a very poor state of repair. This has been replaced with a pyramidal tiled roof by the Practice, reinstating an earlier design.
Additionally we have undertaken quinquennial inspections at the church, followed by repairs to the main roofs, buttresses, windows and to the single bell.
