One of the enfilade suite of three drawing rooms created with heavily modelled plaster and composition enrichments. The 1992 fire destroyed the ceiling, most of the wall linings and the elaborate mid-19th century parquetry and marquetry floor.

Restoration work included replication of the original ceiling incorporating salvaged plaster elements, recreation of heavy gilt composition, enriched wall frames and recarving a series of remarkable door trophies originally created for Carlton House. The room was redecorated in its original warm stone colour and dressed with hand woven silk curtains and wall linings.
