‘Chester Cathedral at Height’ wins an award
February 4, 2015

The project to lift visitors into the Cathedral’s upper galleries, the Bell Chambers and onto the Tower roof has been recognised in the Chester Civic trust New Year’s Honours Awards 2015. Our work fits discretely into the Cathedral’s fabric and it is pleasing to receive an award for a project where our work, although brilliantly detailed, is totally subservient to the Cathedral architecture.

The tour is a thrilling experience and a key part of Chester Cathedral’s strategy in raising income after deciding to open its doors without charging an entry fee.
