Feasibility Study Appointment for Woolwich Town Hall
May 15, 2015

The Grade II* Woolwich Town Hall was completed in 1906 to house the local administrations offices of Woolwich, and is still used for this purpose today by London Borough of Greenwich. Donald Insall Associates has recently been appointed to undertake a feasibility study, providing a range of options for the layout to the main reception area and adjoining Victoria Hall. The reception space is currently cluttered with information boards and furniture and there is no delineation between the public and private areas. The borough has asked that within these designs we integrate a new access control entry system to allow greater security to the building users, but still allowing access to the public facilities within the building. Our plans will rationalise this area removing the clutter of furniture and signage to create a clear entrance/ reception area for the building and proposed decorative access controlled gates will give entry to the main Victoria Hall.
