Old Bond Street Planning Approval

Donald Insall Associates were appointed to advise on the refurbishment and internal alteration of 1 and 1A Old Bond Street, a Grade-II listed building in the Mayfair Conservation Area. The building was designed by Natural History Museum architect Alfred Waterhouse and originally built to accommodate Christy’s hat company. Listed building consent and planning permission have been granted for the proposals, designed by EPR Architects, which include improvements to the shop front the addition of lift in the rear lightwell and installation of a new staircase to allow retail use at both ground and basement level.
