Regent Street Windows Project
July 25, 2014

The Royal Institute of British Architects this week reveals the installations designed by the 15 winners of the RIBA Regent Street Windows Project competition.  Working in collaboration with fashion retailer Hobbs, we are creating an installation which responds to both Regent Street’s rich history and modern regeneration.  The block housing Hobbs will be clad in scaffolding over the summer and early autumn as the historic façade is meticulously cleaned and restored.

Our shop window concept demonstrates that it is ‘business as usual’ for Hobbs. We have artfully reflected Hobbs’ rich history and the best of British design with an historic image of Regent Street in the 1920’s.  This is playfully contrasted with the modern and brightly coloured scaffolding which is brought through the windows to invite the shopper inside.

The exhibition runs for three weeks from 1 September 2014, coinciding with both the London Design Festival and London Fashion Week.
