Royal Opera House Granted Planning Permission for ‘Open-Up’ Project
March 31, 2015

We are delighted to announce that Westminster Planning Committee granted approval for the Royal Opera House’s ‘Open-Up’ Project. Donald Insall Associates have provided historic building advice for the scheme which seeks to increase the presence of the Grade I listed building within the Covent Garden piazza, enhance visitor experience and extend the house’s outreach to wider audiences. Approving the proposals Councillors commented on the ‘superb’ and ‘outstanding’ proposals by Stanton Williams.
