Gwyn joined Donald Insall Associates in 2012 and completed his architectural education with us before returning from a period working within the new-build sector as a Senior Architect and practising Building Information Modelling (BIM) Manager. Both roles complement each other, allowing Gwyn to develop his creative design flair, which is supplemented by pragmatic project delivery so as to provide added value to clients. Gwyn’s expertise lies in integrating new buildings within historic settings and includes award-winning renovation, conservation, residential, leisure, tourism and education projects. BIM technologies and processes underline all projects, with a focus on communication in order to ensure that projects are clearly understood from early historical analysis to post-completion. Gwyn has an active interest in art and design, most recently presenting and consulting on architectural documentaries for a local television station and developing the National Eisteddfod Arts and Crafts exhibition, and is a BIM Regions North West Steering Group Member.
