A former Director and now Consultant, Michael has over 35 years’ experience of working with historic buildings and managing their creative adaptation and reuse; he has worked on many major buildings of national importance, including Windsor Castle, with work in two major World Heritage Sites: Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and Westminster World Heritage Site. He is well accustomed to dealing with complex and challenging historic building and landscape projects, with experience working with scheduled monuments and Grade I listed buildings.

Michael has previously lectured in the Victorian Society Winter Lecture Series 2012–2013, as well as being a guest speaker at the 2014 National Conference of Gardens Trust and a lecturer at Port Sunlight as part of 125 years foundation celebrations in 2014.
