Sarah has developed a strong knowledge base and relevant skills in the conservation of the historic environment throughout her career, from conserving and repairing a broad range of materials and construction — repair in stone, timbre frames, and brick; joinery; and decorative plaster — to repair for stained glass and alabaster monuments. She has a wide range of experience, including adaptive reuse, new interventions for buildings at risk, and reordering projects for churches. Furthermore, she is well versed in condition surveys, conservation appraisals, management plans, feasibility studies, and delivering a full service for a project. Sarah has solid job-running skills and is experienced with funding processes and requirements, consultation and community engagement, statutory requirements, and the faculty process.
