Blickling Hall

Our Quinquennial Inspection of Blickling Hall drew attention to various necessary works of repair, both internal and external, some of which we have subsequently attended to. Our work has included structural repairs to the timber clock tower which was being degraded by ingress of water; repairs to the Tudor brickwork; improving safe access to roofs to assist maintenance; strengthening an 18th Century staircase to remove a supporting scaffold which had been in place for many years; and a phased programme of work to upgrade fire compartmentation through the house and its wings.
