Hamptworth Lodge, Hampshire

Donald Insall Associates provided advice to the client regarding proposed changes to this Grade II* listed country house in Hampshire. The house was built between 1910 and 1913 by Sir Guy Dawber, friend and contemporary of Edwin Lutyens, and is a perfect expression of early 20th century Arts and Crafts and design, with a beautiful interior which was built to house and mirror the owner’s collection of late 16th and early 17th century English oak furniture. Planning permission and listed building consent were granted in 2015 for refurbishment, alterations and upgrading.
