Jesus College, Cambridge

We undertook a survey of the entire college fabric in 1987, outlining a complete costed programmed of maintenance and repair, prioritizing action from immediate to ten or more years in the future. This exercise was repeated in 1997 and more recently has been reviewed once more. We have undertaken over 25 projects of major and minor repair, improvement, alterations and refurbishment arising from these surveys within the College over the past 30 years including the repair of all of its pre-19th Century fabric and much of its more recent fabric. Projects have varied from a few thousand pounds to over a million pounds in value.
