Framework appointments

Research has suggested that the UK public sector’s procurement process is the most expensive in the European Union.

A study by the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) found that on average the total cost of a competitive procurement process is £45,200, with £8,000 of those costs falling on the public body seeking to attract bids.

In the face of growing cuts in public sector funding Insall understands the pressures that our clients face in delivering projects and the scrutiny they can be under. This is particularly prevalent when it comes to procurement and getting the right balance between value, quality and deliverability.

Using existing, OJEU complaint public sector frameworks, provides the ability to demonstrate accountability, transparency and best value for the public purse and complying with applicable EU procurement rules.

Insall are currently instructed on a wide range of public sector frameworks at national, regional and local level, many of which give you the ability to appoint us through a direct call-off or a mini-competition.

This can provide clients with access to a high quality service, significantly shorter procurement programmes and real value for money.

For further details on frameworks, the services we can provide and how we could help you please contact Tony Barton.
