Harry is a Historic Buildings Advisor and has a background in heritage planning and design, working in both the private and public sector, with 4 years of experience working as a Senior Design and Conservation Officer for the London Boroughs of Lambeth and Islington. In this role he dealt with numerous redevelopment schemes in the historic environment, providing guidance from pre-application through to application and for presentation to councillors and at planning committee. He also acted as an expert witness at public enquiry.  At Donald Insall Associates, Harry has provided detailed advice on developing proposals that will be suitable for the historic environment. He has authored Proposal Justifications, Assessments of Significance, Historic Buildings Reports, and Appeal Statements. He has a Masters degree in the Conservation of Historic Buildings from The University of Bath, where he completed a dissertation on how the contemporary architecture of the City of London has evolved to preserve and enhance its ancient heritage. Harry is a full member of the IHBC.
