Joanne has been working as a historic building advisor for over ten years. A full member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation, she is experienced in heritage planning negotiations and has advised on the construction of new buildings in historic settings and the alteration and conversion of numerous statutorily listed and unlisted buildings dating from the 17th century to the post- war period. She provides historic building advice to the Cadogan Estate on a regular basis, liaising on proposals to alter commercial, cultural and residential properties on the King’s Road, Sloane Street and in Hans Town. Joanne’s clients also include the Crown Estate, Grosvenor Estate and Chelsfield for whom she has carried out negotiations with local authority officers on numerous projects from large developments to works of alteration and repair. She has also written Conservation Plans, assessing both buildings and public realm, for the Cadogan Estate culminating in the recent production of a CMP for the whole Estate.
