Two Insall projects named Civic Trust Award 2018 winners in Conservation

The Civic Trust Awards have revealed their 2018 national winners, and we are pleased to have been involved in two of the listed winners for the nine AABC Conservation Awards winners, selected out of a shortlist of 31.
We have been involved with St Mary’s Church, Nantwich for a number of years, where we have just completed the second of three phases of works to this Grade I listed church, improving access facilities, repairing of historic fabric as well as inserting sensitive additions such as a café and shop that does not detract the eye from the beautiful
The second project to win is Lightwoods Park and House, which is one of the first parks to be purchased by public subscription in 1910. We worked alongside Architects Unit as Conservation Consultant to the HLF supported project where we restored the bandstand and the drinking fountains as well as one of the wings, returning the building elevation to its original symmetry.
