Tom Hollidge

Tom graduated from the University of Plymouth and the University of Sheffield before becoming a qualified Architect in 2018. His interest in working with existing buildings stems from a diverse range of experiences, spanning commercial architecture, residential projects, and conservation endeavours. Tom is particularly passionate about conservation and retrofitting, focusing on refurbishing buildings as a sustainable approach to architecture. He enhanced his expertise by completing the Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management.

Joining Donald Insall Associates in 2023, Tom has been involved in various projects, notably the restoration of the Health Hydro in Swindon. This significant Victorian building houses the oldest continuously used Turkish baths in the UK, along with a 35m swimming pool. His contributions to this publicly-owned Grade II* listed building encompass repairs, refurbishment, and revitalisation. Additionally, Tom has worked on a repair programme for the Midland Shed at the Grade I listed Bristol Temple Meads Station.
