Bournemouth Conservation Area CMP

Bournemouth has seen a great amount of development in recent years which has put pressure on the Conservation Areas to adapt and change whilst preserving the character and significance of these areas. As such, Insall were appointed to author three new conservation area appraisal and management plans, one for the Old Christchurch Road Conservation Area, compromising the majority of the town centre, as well as East Cliff and West Cliff and Poole Hill which sit on either side. We also led on community and stakeholder engagement.  The plans will form part of supplementary planning guidance.
